Berry Healing Smoothie recipe
Servings: 2 | Time: 5 minutes | Supplies: Juicer or blender
Rich in essential nutrients and antioxidants for body-healing benefits, this recipe is perfect for postpartum but suitable for anyone who is TTC or pregnant too! Just remember, matcha green tea powder does have caffeine, about 70 mg in this recipe.

The fresh fruits in this recipe will provide a fiber boost, which can help get things moving and beat any postpartum constipation you may be experiencing
This recipe is also rich in antioxidants, found in the matcha green tea powder and chia seeds
Almond milk is particularly rich in vitamin E, an antioxidant that can reduce stress and inflammation in your body
Chia seeds are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which can help reduce depression and anxiety, fight inflammation, and even improve sleep!
Here’s what you’ll need:
150 g (3⁄4 cup) fresh blueberries
75 g (1⁄2 cup) fresh blackberries
1 tsp matcha green tea powder
30 g (1⁄4 cup) dark chocolate chips
240 mL (1 cup) almond milk
80 g (1⁄3 cup) plain yogurt
Handful of ice
Chia seeds (optional garnish)
Here’s how to make it:
Add the berries, matcha powder, dark chocolate chips, yogurt, ice, and 180 ml (3⁄4 cup) of the almond milk to the blender and pulse.
Check on the consistency and add remaining almond milk as needed to reach desired consistency.
Serve in a tall glass and garnish with chia seeds and berries on top and enjoy!
