Supplies: Food processor
Servings: 10 Balls
Total Time: 1 Hour 15 Minutes
Ingredients:
3 TBSP chocolate protein powder
1 TBSP good quality cocoa powder
60 g (1/4 cup) tahini butter
60g (1/4 cup) almond butter
67 g (3/4 cup) rolled oats
37.5g (1/4 cup) crushed nuts
113g (1/3 cup) Manuka honey
1/2 tsp pink Himalayan salt
3 TBSP chia seeds
Here's how to make it:
1. Combine the cocoa powder, tahini, and nut butters, rolled oats, nuts, honey, and salt in a food processor. Whizz for a few minutes until even blended - you may want to add a little bit of nut milk (if you have it on hand) if the mixture clumps together too much.
2. The final consistency should resemble a fairly thick paste that can be rolled into balls (for best results chill for 30 minutes before rolling).
3. Sprinkle the chia seeds onto a plate or flat surface. Roll a heaped teaspoon of the mixture into a ball and then roll over the seed mix until evenly coated. Repeat with the remainder of the mixture.
4. Place back in the fridge until hardened, about 30 minutes. You can keep these stored for up to 5 days, although they're so good we doubt they'll last that long!
